Questions about Ticketing?

We are a pass based festival so we do not sell individual tickets to film screenings. We have four different passes, the Private Access, Platinum, Cinema, and State Street Pass. If you purchase one of these, you will have priority admission to all the various events they get you into.

We do sell individual tickets to our celebrity tributes and panel discussions but in regards to film screenings, we sell the 4 Film and 10 Film MiniPaks. With these, for example the 4 Pak, 1 person can see 4 movies or 4 people 1 movie or any other combination there in. One thing to remember is that the minipaks are not film specific so it is a first come first served basis. Since we can not fully gauge how many Passholder and MiniPak holders will show up for a screening, we have the Q system to help not only gauge that but prevent you from standing in line for hours.

One hour before each screening we will be handing out a limited number of Qs that will reserve your spot IN LINE. These do not guarantee you a seat in the theatre. You must have a MiniPak to obtain a Q and it is only 1 Q per person. Once you have your Q card, you can leave the line and visit downtown Santa Babrara via shopping or grabbing a quick bite to eat. You must be back in line in numerical order once we start seating 20 minutes before show time. We will first seat Passholders and once we know how many seats are left in the auditorium (usually still 70%) we will let that many Q holders in.

Say more Passholders showed up than normal, not all Q holders will be seated. Say less Passholders show up than normal, people who did not obtain a Q will be allowed in.

Once all Passholders and MiniPak holders have been seated, THEN we will sell individual rush tickets for that screening at a price of $15. Usually these will be front row so we highly recommend purchasing a MiniPak.
